Mailboxes are the basic building blocks of a Vocalist21 application. They form the nodes of the tree structure that represents the call flow. The top mailbox is where your application starts. It is the mailbox that will answer the incoming call and sits at the top as the starting point of the tree.
In the ACME application, we would like to create the top mailbox that will play a recorded company greeting and wait for callers' touch tone input selection.

Define the Top Mailbox Function Properties
Each mailbox must have a function specified. The function is the primary definition of the mailbox. It defines the functional block of voice process. Each function has a set of properties that can be configured to suit the application requirements.
In the Properties window, you can change the name and the function of the mailbox, and configure the properties for the specific function at the same time.
