Call Accounting System Requirements

The following configuration diagram illustrate connectivity options for traditional telephone sytems (serial connections), IP telephone systems (TCP/IP connections) and buffer boxes (serial/TCP IP connections) to the CAM Host computer operating the CAM software.

greendot Serial Connections

An RS-232 connection between the PBX/Key Systems SMDR/CDR port and the desktop computer operating our CAM solution is required. The PBX/Key System must be programmed to deliver CDR information via this RS-232 connection to the desktop computer.

greendot IP Connections

The CDR feature must be activated on the IP Telephone System. Both the IP Teleohne Sytem and the workstation operating our CAM software must be connected to the same LAN/WAN. The lines between IP Telephone System and the workstation are provided to illustrate the presence of a nertwork conncetion.

greendot CAM Host Computer

The workstation operating the CAM software must utilize a Microsoftİ Windows operating system (Windows 98 SE or later).

Telephone System Requirements

Please consult yout telephone system manufacturer's documentation for a detailed list of telephone system programming and hardware required to implement a Call Accounting application. Please note, programming and hardware required will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Call Accounting Mate System Requirements

CAM has been written to capitalized on the advantages of Microsoft Windows operating systems. You must be running either Windows 98 SE or higher, or Windows 2000 or higher for CAM to function. Do not attempt to run under Windows 3.1 with the Win32s installed as this is not an approved OS and will not be supported.

CAM designed to work with most commercially available telephone systems. CAM supports connection between your telephone system and the computer operating our software via one of following:

greendotSerial Port (RS-232)

greendotNetwork (telnet, TCP, UDP)

greendotODBC ( Asterisk-MySQL, Cisco Call Manager)

greendotFile

Call Accounting Mate can operate on both stand-alone computers and network environments. The following computer equipments and software are required to implement Call Accounting Mate on a desktop.

greendot Computer Pentium 200 MHZ or greater
greendot O/S Windows 98 Se or greater with IE 5.5 or later
greendot CD ROM Required
greendot Disk Space 30 MB or greater (depending on call volumes)
greendot RAM 64 MB (Windows 98/ME), 128MB (Win2000, XP)
greendot Serial Port Not required with some IP Telephone Systems (ie. Nortel, Cisco, Avaya, etc)
greendot Network Required for multi-user environments and IP Telephone Systems
